Printing at the Belfast Free Library

If you need to print something out, you can either print from one of our computers (general use computers for adults are located on the first floor, and those for under 17 years old are located on the second floor), or you can send things to print from your own device using a platform called Princh (click here for details).

If you have a Belfast Free Library card, you no longer need to ask to use a computer at the front desk. Simply go to the computer you want to use, sign in with your library card number, and use the computer as you normally would. If you do not have a library card, you will need to go to the desk to receive a guest pass.

Using our computers, go to print the document and select either “Black and White” or “Color” as the destination printer, depending on which you would like. Black and white prints are $0.10 per page. Color prints are $0.25 per page. Double-sided prints are twice the cost.

A prompt will appear to confirm the number of pages and the cost. Once confirmed, go to the Print Release Station next to the photocopier, select the “Release my Print Jobs” button and enter your library card number or guest pass number (there is a barcode scanner on the right-hand-side for easy entering). If you sent something using the mobile printing option, enter your email address instead. From there you can preview the print job, delete it, or confirm and pay for it by depositing money into coin op machine.

(The machine accepts coins and bills up to $20. Please note, all change given by the machine will be in coins. If you are paying for only a few copies with a large bill, please go to the circulation desk for change.)
