Join us for a presentation from Deborah Nowers discussing the history and evolution of the burying places in New England, as well as the materials that were used for the gravestones. She will also talk about a project to document, clean, and repair gravestones throughout Waldo County.

Deborah Nowers is currently leading a Daughters of the American Revolution project to document the gravestones of Revolutionary War patriots in Waldo County. While in the cemeteries, more stones called to her.
